This is the loving home of a spectacular couple. They purchased their home and all it had in the back yard was a fence, grass, a small concrete patio and the catch basin of the 6 surrounding homes. It was dire and provided no value. They loved being on their patio but had nothing to look at but grass and fence. We painted the fence black (so it would visually disappear), added depth by soil in strategically placing planting mounds, created pathways and added layer upon layer of ground cover, shrubs and small trees. The result brings a sense of nurture, life, vitality and a pollinator haven.
